This is an interesting post to write because we set up the computer lab at Iganga Senior Secondary in Uganda way back in 2011! Check out that post here. We’ve come back to Iganga SS seven years later, and found the lab in great shape, and an active body of excited tech-savvy students.

We were excited to conduct a three-day robotics camp, and tell the students about the free services available at the CTC and the advanced programs in the hackerspace. We prepared the girls for a science exhibition, and they all did a great job using the NXT for the first time. They all were thankful for Hackers for Charity and the computer club.

It’s so cool to see such a great legacy from our early work. Thanks to the Jinja team for checking in on these great students and sharing resources and training!
