It started as a normal night but ended with our two oldest kids in the hospital. Trevor was diagnosed with a kidney infection and Kenna, who passed out before we could get her there, has an as yet undiagnosed bacterial infection. Trevor was released quickly but Kenna was held for a few hours and put on IV and antibiotics. Both are home sleeping it off. Scary stuff. Personally I get really (really) freaked out when stuff happens to my kids. Thankfully, they both seem much improved. Thankful to Evelyn and Dr. Charles, and thankful that we had money for the clinic. What a memorable birthday for Trevor. :-)
