We never imagined we would need an air conditioning unit in our hackerspace in Jinja Uganda, but when we closed it up (to keep the dust out), the interior temps soared to over 100 degrees fahrenheit. We were stuck, and really couldn’t open the center until we installed A/C, which we hadn’t budgeted for.
