I don’t know what it is about music, but I love working sound. I played violin for like 14 years or something, and my dad was a DJ for as long as I can remember, when he wasn’t busy hacking the crap out of some kind of electronic something or other. But for whatever reason, I love the tech and the music and enjoy slaving away for hours on end mastering tracks and video. Here’s a preview of tonight’s performance.

A rather trite statement but it seems apt nevertheless, “when in hell, don’t stop”.
You’re an inspiration Johnny. Your tales of woe must have you questioning is life supposed to be this hard when you’re on the right path? I guess sometimes it is. Jesus never seemed to have it easy. There’s a popular poster with slogan in the UK now that is also on mugs and door mats that says “Keep calm and carry on”. I believe it was designed to motivate us Brits during the war if the Germans ever invaded. From your posts it sounds like you are ‘behind enemy lines’ so perhaps it will help ;-)
Sorry you won’t be at Defcon, I was looking forward to meeting you. I trust there will still be a HFC fund raising stand?
